Certain items, such as vaccines or make-up, which are consumed orally or by the skin, could become ineffective or even dangerous. Cold preserves the texture, taste and safety of food, as well as the stability of chemical products. This regulation sets vehicle standards, storage temperatures and hygiene and safety rules. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The ATP is a United Nations agreement signed by 48 countries. In France, <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.autoritecompetenteatp.cemafroid.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Cemafroid<\/b><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is responsible for ensuring compliance with these regulations. It is the delegated body responsible for the technical examination of temperature-controlled means of transport for foodstuffs, and for issuing official certificates of conformity.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The carrier has an obligation of result: he must use suitable equipment to guarantee the preservation temperature throughout the journey.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The appendix to the <\/span><a Then you&#8217;re subject to the regulations of the ATP, the Agreement on the Transport of Perishable Foodstuffs under Controlled Temperature. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first obligation concerns transport equipment which, according to the ATP, must be <\/span><b>be equipped with an individual cold production system. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is referred to as <\/span><b>class A <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">for refrigerated vehicles capable of maintaining a temperature between +12 and 0\u00b0C, and <\/span><b>class C <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">for those able to maintain temperatures between +12 and -20\u00b0C. The isothermal <\/span><b>vehicles <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">are designed to limit heat exchange between the inside and outside of the body. <\/span> <\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All temperature-controlled transport equipment must carry an ATP certificate of conformity. A blue marking, visible on the front and sides of the vehicle, indicates the cold production technique, the level of insulation and the vehicle class. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is possible to <\/span><b>to<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> only in the following cases:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Transport &lt; 80 km without breaking the load (without opening the doors) ;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tanker transport of milk and cream destined for industry over a distance of &lt; 200 km without breaking the load;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Transport of frozen fish products to an approved establishment for thawing on arrival over a distance of &lt; 80 km and a journey time of &lt; 1 hour.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Of course, the temperature to be guaranteed during transport <\/span><b>depends on the type of product.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Fresh products such as frozen vegetables need to be kept between 2 and 4\u00b0C, and ice creams at -20\u00b0C, for example.
