Expanded Polypropylene also offers another significant advantage: it is a <b>highly versatile and workable material<\/b>, which <b>enables metallic components to be replaced by new EPP technical parts in existing machinery already in operation<\/b>. Accordingly, machinery can be retained and does not have to be fully replaced.<\/span><\/p><h2 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>What is a heat recovery system and what benefits does it offer?<br \/><\/b><\/span><\/h2><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">A <b>heat recovery system<\/b>, also known as heat recovery ventilation, is one of the <b>most highly rated HVAC<\/b> (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) <b>units<\/b> at present, as it is an <b>environmentally friendly solution<\/b> that satisfies <b>energy efficiency<\/b> and <b>sustainable development<\/b> criteria. <\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The main advantage of a heat recovery system is that it reuses most (up to 90%) of <b>the energy from the stale air inside a room<\/b> using a <b>mechanical ventilat<\/b><\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>ion system<\/b>. A <b>heat exchanger is used<\/b> to stream the internal and external air without mixing them.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This air conditioning system provides fantastic and efficient results: it <b>recovers up to 60% of the heat<\/b> (which would be lost in a mechanical ventilation system) and <b>reduces energy consumption<\/b> by HVAC units by <b>approximately 40%<\/b>.<\/span><\/p><h2 class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Expanded Polypropylene properties are perfect for HVAC heat recovery systems<\/b><\/span><\/h2><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The main <b>characteristics and properties<\/b> of Expanded Polypropylene or EPP are its expanded form which grants high thermal resistance, the closed and sealed cells that provide <b>excellent insulation in electrical devices<\/b>, the material itself <b>prevents mould and rust forming<\/b>, and, additionally, EPP technical parts are <b>100% recyclable<\/b>. <\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">A quick look at these properties of EPP leads us to the very obvious conclusion that it is a <b>highly valuable industrial product for the HVAC sector, also known as HVACR<\/b>, as it remains <b>stable across a very wide temperature range<\/b>, as well as providing <b>excellent insulation<\/b> in electronic devices. Expanded Polypropylene is also an <b>environmentally friendly material<\/b>, as it can be used repeatedly without harming the environment.<\/span><\/p><h2 class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Further applications and benefits of EPP in HVAC units<\/b><\/span><\/h2><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">With the increasing <b>move towards sustainable development in the HVAC sector, Expanded Polypropylene <\/b>has become the leading manufacturing component for this type of air handling unit, both for the<b> external framework and the internal structure of heat recovery\u00a0systems.<\/b><\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The<b> reasons for the widespread uptake of EPP<\/b> in heat recovery system manufacturing include, in addition to the thermal and electrical insulation and green qualities mentioned previously, other <b>factors that add significant value to the HVAC sector: more silent and vibration-free running and the versatility of the material itself. <\/b>This last property ensures it can be used for manufacturing most internal heat recovery system parts, as well as ventilation ducts.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Yet, we can find <b>even more added value in the use of EPP technical parts<\/b> in heat recovery systems.
