What Is EPP?
Expanded Polypropylene is a plastic material characterized by a cellular structure that provides excellent shock and vibration absorption properties. It is manufactured from polypropylene beads that are expanded under very high pressure using a blowing agent, butane, to create expanded polypropylene. At the end of the process, the material is free of any residual butane. These expanded polypropylene beads are then pressure-molded into the desired shape, whether for protective equipment, packaging components, or industrial parts.
